RESIDENTS CHARTER

We will:

  • Work closely with the service users to ensure Quality of Life, Independence and maintenance of Privacy and Dignity
  • Provide the service user with a key worker, who will help and support them to achieve their goals and aspirations.
  • Provide support with financial budgeting, domestic tasks and the maintenance of their health
  • Work with the service user on an agreed structured care plan with their care manager.
  • Ensure consultation takes place with carers, relatives, friends and advocates, involving outside agencies, as appropriate, to fully assess the service user’s needs.
  • Ensure all the service user’s interests are dealt with confidentially at all times.
  • Provide an escort to and from reviews or doctors appointments etc, if required.
  • Ensure that the service users wishes are respected at all times and that the service they receive is in accordance with the C.Q.C. guidelines and the service users charter of our governing bodies.
  • In an emergency respond immediately to a request for assistance.  In addition to staff on site (except in our semi-independent homes) there is a 24-hour on call service.
  • Ensure care is provided by appropriately trained staff who are supported and supervised by an on site and Head Office management team.
